Suresh served in the military in the Singapore Air Force for six years before his stint as a semi-professional footballer. He also obtained a Masters of Law degree in International Sports Law and mostly recently, like a true multi-hyphenate, has a Doctorate in Business Administration.

A recent challenge that Suresh overcame was the arrangement of a world cup football icon agreeing to make a trip for their event.
The coordination of travels was so catastrophic that it was almost cancelled. While all the fans and media were waiting, the star appeared and Suresh felt the greatest reflief and he felt like he was the happiest man around that day.
