At The Great Room, we pride ourselves on the safety and well-being of our members, community and staff. During these uncertain times, we have and will continue to exercise health and safety measures in line with government guidelines in all our locations.

SINGAPORE

One George Street - open from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm (for essential services and key economic sectors)
Centennial Tower - closed temporarily, (open as of June 2nd, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm)

A member of the Workplace Operator Readiness Council (WORC), The Great Room is working alongside several strategic key advisors such as JLL and Colliers to develop new workplace guidelines.

During this period, the following guidelines will continue to be implemented across all locations: 

  • A strict no-access policy for anyone who in the past 14 days has:
    -
    Been outside of their respective base country
    - Been in close contact with someone who has been outside of their base country
    - Shown any specified symptom as per World Health Organisation (WHO)
  • All members will be required to fill the Health Declaration Form every Monday at the Concierge before entering the office
  • All external guests will be directed to the Concierge and required to fill up the Health Declaration Form before meeting the members
  • Temperature checks for all members and external guests daily
  • Temperature checks for cleaning custodians and employees
  • Members are advised to stay home if they are not feeling well or have a sick family member at home
  • Social distancing at all congregation points such as the concierge, bar, pantry and elevator lobby
  • Walkthroughs will be conducted by the team periodically to ensure members are practicing physical distancing 
  • Required training and induction for cleaning custodians to ensure workplace safety and readiness
  • Cleaning custodians will follow a strict daily cleaning roster which includes hourly cleaning and sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces - door handles, elevator buttons, chairs, desks and other work surfaces
  • Cleaning custodians will be required to wear surgical masks at all times in the space 
  • All employees—including all cleaning custodians, will be diligent about regular hand washing and sanitizing 
  • All employees will be required to wear surgical masks when coming into face-to-face contact with members or external guests 
  • Surgical masks are available at the Concierge
  • Touch-free alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed at the Concierge and pantry area 
  • All members and external guests will be required to sanitize their hands before entering the space
  • Periodical professional disinfection services to sanitize all offices, common area and surfaces
  • All mails and packages delivered will be sanitized before handing over to members. To encourage contactless mail handling, all mails and packages will be delivered to members via the trolley for collection
  • Should there be 2 or more external guests, member will be required to book a meeting room
  • Signage to remind members and guests to wash or sanitize their hands frequently, alongside safe distancing reminders will be placed around the space, notably in washrooms and pantry 
  • Encourage members to work in alternative areas in the space to reduce density within the office
  • Stagger arrival and departure hours of staff to reduce interaction 
  • Non-contact methods of greeting instead of handshakes encouraged
  • Members are encouraged to book the meeting rooms through the Members’ Portal instead of approaching the Concierge 
  • Meeting room capacity and recommended seating arrangement guidelines will be placed on table tops as reminders
  • Sanitizer wipes and touch-free alcohol-based hand sanitizers will be available in each meeting room

Community Events

  • A series of online masterclass events - both business learning and lifestyle will be organized for the community

External Events

  • All guests will be required to fill the Health Declaration Form before entering the space
  • Entry will be denied should any guests exhibit any specified symptom as per World Health Organisation (WHO)
  • To ensure safe distancing between guests within event space, stickers/visual guides will be placed on the floor as reminders 
  • Event venue will be wiped down with disinfecting solution after every event
